Something a little different: an on-the-go mindfulness exercise for the on-the-go mindful person. Take a break, and connect with the world waiting in your mind’s eye.
The Final Hour
The final hour of the year is also the quietest.
Outside, the cold darkness of the night consumes all sound. Everyone is huddled indoors by now, gathered in the brightest corners of their homes and surrounded by light, sound, color.

Lavender Labyrinth
All I see is the color purple.

Sunset Dawn

Dive deep beneath the land of whales,
In the next ocean’s blue,
Start anew.
Winters Left Behind

Everything that stood outside the comfort of my home was completely blanketed in white, enveloped in a relentless blizzard that dazzled my eyes and stung my ears. I pulled down the hat on my head and crossed my arms, saving up my strength for the road ahead.
Midnight Apartment
The digital clock marks 00:01; yet, on this particular evening, midnight will repeat again and again, for hours on end, as the world comes together for one day to step into the promises of the New Year.
